Huge crowds enjoyed the beautiful autumn weather at the Love Living Locally event at theKingborough Civic Centre. The annual event showcased local Kingborough produce, producers, arts and crafts with over 40 stalls!
Local Garden Visits - an initiative of the Food Growers group, these monthly visits highlight the skills and knowledge of local people in their gardens.
Farm Gate Sales - a list is currently being compiled of local producers
FEAST - Families Eating and Sharing Together is a regular SLiK event to encourage sharing local food, recipes and getting to know members of the community. Next FEAST will be held mid winter.
Solar Hot Water Bulk Buy has now closed!
Sustainable Living in Kingborough received funding from Kingborough Council to contract Mike Willson as the Project Manager to co-ordinate and implement a bulk purchase of evacuated solar hot water apparatus for Kingborough residents.
